Simple Smokey Eyes for Monolids

Some of you who has monolid eyes might think that smokey eyes aren't for you. Oh nothing at all.. In fact you can stand out also with this look just as double lid people do.

Today I will share to you how to create a simple smokey eyes look for monolid eyes. Asians usually have monolid eyes, just like mine.
In the right way, monolid eyes could be as gorgeous as double lid eyes. It just needs unlimited creativity and sometimes a little daring to block the eyes with monochromatic color.

When I did this, I was in rush to go to some night event after doing my work. So I need to do a quick make up that look effortless yet pretty and gorgeous also.

Graduation Photo shoot

GRADUATION'S PHOTO SHOOT

WOoo, today is a very special day because today is my Graduation's photo shoot!!! A Lot of preparation with a little bit chaos, funny moments, and of course the make up testing !! I love this moment :D

Here's the preview of the preparation's moments I took before the photo shoot:

Make up time

Here I'm using a double tape on my lids to open up my eyes more. I took two pieces of them in each eye so my eyes will look even bigger and nicer.
I used blue as a basic color, which is a cold tone, because I used a broken white dress for photo shoot.

First step, before applying an eye shadow, I use a concealer over my lid to make the color longer lasting. Then, I apply a white grey as a basic color on lids until my outer crease. It will give the brighter look effect.
Next, I continued with a pale light blue right on the upper crease , layering with a metallic blue to make a smokey effect. Create your own as your wish to. As you can see, I made my own using metallic blue color with a dramatic wings on upper crease.
For the last color I pick a black one to contour my eyes and bring more depth in my eyes.

the earlier look :)

I finish it with a very black liquid eye liner along my upper line and give it more dramatic in the outer corner of my eyes. I also used a black eye liner on my lower line, over my blue eye's pencil.
